{About}
We founded the Plan II Chamber Music Society in January 2008 in order to provide performance
opportunities for students who played an instrument before college and who are interested in keeping up with their skills. Our goal is to help students keep music in their lives.
There are a variety of activities to do, from performances to social events. The end-of-the-semester concert is a voluntary event for you and/or an ensemble to show off your skills. For something more low key, join us at Pancakes and Jam for a deliciously sticky sight-reading party. And don't forget about social events such as the much beloved Disney sing-along. More activity details to come.
Other past activities include coordinating masterclasses and coaching sessions with UT Butler School of Music faculty or students, attending concerts as a group, and performing for community service.
Music lovers of all genres are welcome (classical, jazz, rock… anything!). So, if
you can play an instrument or sing, then come check out Plan II Music Society!
