The Silk Road Ensemble with Yo Yo Ma
When: Mon, Mar 28th at 8 pm
Where: Bass Concert Hall
What: "TX Performing Arts is thrilled to present Yo-Yo Ma, with the Austin debut of his distinguished Silk Road Ensemble. One of the preeminent classical musicians in the world, Ma has made over 75 albums and won 16 Grammy Awards. Recently celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Silk Road Project fosters cultural exchange by uniting artists from Asia, the Middle East, and the West in creative collaborations."
Tickets will be handed out pre-concert.

What: Get ready for our first ever holiday party! We will be serving free hot chocolate and pie in light of the incoming holidays as well as playing holiday-themed music. Who doesn't like free food and holiday pieces? This is also a good chance to practice for our volunteering event at Seton, for those who want to volunteer.

What: The Miro Quartet will be playing Schubert Quartettsatz in C Minor, D. 703, Brahms String Quartet in C Minor op. 51 no. 1, and Brahms String Sextet in g Major, op. 36. The concert is at 7:30, and we will be meeting in the Quad (by the Diana Statue) at 7:00 to head over together. Please be on time, bring $10 for your ticket, and some extra cash for fro-yo after the concert. Don't forget, this is a great way to meet new ensemble members and friends!
